WHAT IS THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE AGS ID COMBINE?
    Our mission is simply to give High School student-athlete soccer players an inside look into college soccer, and allow them to work with and be seen by coaches from some of the top schools in the area.
HOW ARE THE COACHES SELECTED TO WORK/ATTEND COMBINE?
    We have participating coaches that work directly with the players. Also, we invite coaches attend from different divisions and conferences to provide additional exposure.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN COMBINE?
All current Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior & Senior High School boys grades 9-12 that have aspirations on playing at the collegiate level.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Registration will be handled online. You have the option of paying by credit card online or sending a check via mail.

IS THERE A DEADLINE TO REGISTER?
Registration will be taken on a first come first serve basis. We are expecting a sell out so don't wait too long to register.

WHAT AIRPORT CAN I FLY TO?
AGS will provide shuttle service to (flights must be scheduled a day before combine) and from (flights must be scheduled the day of combine) at either:

  1. New York, NY, United States (LGA-LaGuardia)
    2. OR
  2. New York, NY, United States (JFK-John F. Kennedy Intl.)
**For an additional fee of $40.00 per camper. Each airport is located about 30 minutes from Combine site.**
Other options: (You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from airport) Newark (EWR) airport - 2 hour drive from Hicksville.
WHAT TIME IS CHECK IN?
Check in will be available 30 minutes to start time on field location site. Each player will have the opportunity to check-in and warmup on their own prior to start time.
WHAT WILL I NEED TO BRING TO COMBINE?
  • Molded cleats or turf shoes
  • Shin guards
  • Weather appropriate athletic attire
WILL THERE BE PLAYER EVALUATIONS?
Yes, the participants grouped coach will complete an evaluation. Evaluations will be provided 2-4 weeks post combine date in webpage format.
WILL THERE BE FOOD AND DRINKS AVAILABLE ON SITE?
Yes, we will have a truck where participants/spectators can purchase snacks and drinks.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
Your registration fee is non-refundable. If session is cancelled due to weather, we will credit the registration amount towards future events.
WILL THERE BE GOALKEEPER TRAINING?
  • Goalkeepers will have a team that they will compete with during the combine.
  • Goalkeepers will train with the GK staff for the 1st half of the training sessions and then be integrated back with the team for the rest of the session.
  • We will also have ancillary sessions for Goalkeepers with our staff and give all staff members the opportunity to watch them train.
WHAT LIABILITY WAIVER/RELEASE FORMS WILL I NEED TO SUBMIT FOR CAMP?
All medical forms will be done online during registration. and andGO Sports is fully insured, however each camper will have to sign the waiver and release of liability form. andGO Sports employees and coaching staff will not be held liable for any injuries that occur at combine.
HOW DO WE HANDLE INJURIES?
There will be a certified trainer available before, during and after all training sessions to evaluate injuries.
IS THERE A TEAM DISCOUNT RATE?
Yes, there is a team discount if 10 or more players from the same team sign up for camp.

College Bus Tour FAQs

WHAT IS THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE COLLEGE BUS TOUR?
Our mission is to provide high school-aged soccer players an inside look into a variety of college campuses, while showcasing their talents in front of surrounding college coaches.
WHO IS INVITED TO JOIN THE COLLEGE TOUR?
High school-aged boy soccer players that have full intentions of pursuing soccer at the collegiate level.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Registration will be handled online or via check.

WHERE DO I COMPLETE THE LIABILITY WAIVER/RELEASE FORMS?
After submitting your information through our online registration form, we will follow up shortly after with our waiver/liability link.
WHAT DOES THE OVERALL COST INCLUDE?
Two nights in a hotel (two players per room), transportation to and from all schools, practice facilities, experienced chaperones, NCAA Men’s soccer match, breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day, and a program shirt.
IS THERE A DEADLINE TO REGISTER?
Registration will close when all spots have been filled. Please note that discounted prices will be given for early registration:

CAN I PARTICIPATE IF I DO NOT LIVE IN NEW YORK?
Yes, we welcome anyone who is interested. Participants can either meet us at the first school location or fly into NYC Airport. If you are flying in, you are responsible for transportation to and from the airport, and any additional costs outside the three-day bus tour. Please fly into either:

  1. New York, NY, United States (LGA-LaGuardia)
    2. OR
  2. New York, NY, United States (JFK-John F. Kennedy Intl.)
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
There is no refund, however the payment can be granted to another AGS Program.
IS THERE ANY KIND OF PAYMENT PLAN FOR THE BUS TOUR?
Yes, we have outlined the payment plan dates/amounts below:
Due September 1, 2016 - $250
Due September 15, 2016 - $250
Due October 1, 2016 -$199
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD MISBEHAVES DURING THE TRIP?
The child’s family is fully responsible for any transpiration required in order for the child to get home (taxi, flight, Uber). No refund will be given for a child that misbehaves and misses part of the trip.

WHO ARE THE CHAPERONES?
All chaperones will be former collegiate college soccer players experienced in prior AGS tours in order to ensure the student-athletes are guided through the recruiting process most efficiently.
CAN PARENTS COME ON THE TRIP?
Unfortunately, parents are not welcome on the trip.
WHO IS INVOLVED IN THE TRAINING SESSION?
The 30-40 student-athletes on the trip will be participating in the practices. No current players at the schools will be playing with the high school kids. The coaches will be present for recruiting purposes.
CAN WE PICK OUR ROOMMATE?
Yes, there are two people per room-if you have ONE friend that you'd like to room with, that is fine. Otherwise, the roommates will be selected at random.
WHAT COLLEGES COACHES WILL THE PLAYERS GET VISIBLY IN FRONT OF?
In addition to the five schools we are visiting, other college coaches from surrounding schools will also be invited to the training sessions.

WHAT IS THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE NASSAU COUNTY EXECUTIVE CUP - COLLEGE SHOWCASE?
  • To expose players to the top collegiate coaches throughout the Northeast Region
  • To give prospective college soccer players the experience of the recruiting process
  • To help place players into respected college soccer programs
HOW ARE THE COACHES SELECTED TO EVALUATE/COACH EACH TEAM?
  • We invite coaches from traditionally excellent soccer programs
  • We invite experienced college coaches who will help our participants improve tactically as well as guide them through the recruitment process
WHO CAN TRYOUT FOR THE NASSAU COUNTY EXECUTIVE CUP?
Anyone who will be enrolled in a New York State High School in the Fall of 2015.
IS THERE A DEADLINE TO REGISTER?
If possible, we ask participants to register prior to attending tryouts. Registration will also be open on site right before tryout session starts.

DO I HAVE TO PAY $20 FOR EVERY TRYOUT?
No, the $20 fee is a one-time payout for all tryouts.
IF I PREFER A DIFFERENT METHOD OF PAYMENT (Check, Money Order or Cash) WHEN AND WHERE CAN I PROVIDE THAT?
The $20 payment can be provided before the first tryout during check-in (please arrive a little extra early). Checks would be payable to: Friends of Nassau County.
DO I HAVE TO ATTEND EVERY TRYOUT?
We recommend that every participant attend as many tryouts as possible so everyone can be seen multiple times by different evaluators.

WHAT DO I WEAR?
We ask that each participant dress in athletic attire (Gym Clothes). Either sneakers and/or cleats are acceptable, while shin guards are optional.
HOW DO I REGISTER MY CHILD?

DO I NEED A SOCCER BALL?
Yes, a soccer ball is needed. Extra soccer balls will be available for week 1, but we can only accommodate so many children, so we ask that everyone brings their own ball if possible.
IS THERE A DEADLINE TO REGISTER?
There is no official deadline, but we do have a cap number of participants for each location. Registration is based off first come firse basis.
CAN I PAY IN PERSON?
Our recommended form of payment is via credit card, but if check or cash is your preferred method, then a check can be mailed or cash can be brought to our office location prior the start of the session.
IS THERE A REFUND POLICY
Our program is non-refundable. If for some reason a participant is not able to make an entire session we will offer an "account credit" which the participant can use towards any future programs we host.
CAN I MAKE UP A CLASS I MISS, AT ANOTHER LOCATION OR TIME?
Unfortunately, classes cannot be made up at other locations, due to our session becoming full as well as not wanting to affect our other sessions.
WHAT IS THE CANCELATION POLICY?
We generally try to post cancellations at least 2 hours before the start of the session. Cancelation of the practice occurs only under inclement weather circumstances.
IF PRACTICE IS CANCELLED DO WE MAKE IT UP?
Yes, we generally make up the missed practice at the end of the 6 week program and have an extra date as our "rain date".
HOW MANY PARTICIPANTS ARE IN A GROUP AND HOW ARE THEY FORMED?
The groups are assembled by gender, age and ability. Each group will consist of anywhere from 10-15 children.
WHO ARE THE TRAINERS/COACHES?
Our trainers/coaches consist of current and former college soccer players as well as current physical education students and teachers. Each trainer brings a different aspect to the game all which will help aid in the development of your child's participation in soccer.
WHEN DOES MY CHILD RECEIVE THEIR FREE T-SHIRT?
The participants will receive their free T-shirt on the third week of the clinic. If for some reason your child cannot make that particular session date, they will be available for the following week on site.
WHAT IS A CLINIC? HOW WILL IT BE STRUCTURED?
Our clinics are one-hour long and it's a fundamental program where all participants learn the rules, objectives and skills of soccer. The children will be grouped according into age & gender. Each week will consist of a different topic (dribbling, shooting, passing, control etc..). There are NO officiated games, but at the end of each practice session will have a "inter-squad" scrimmage.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD IS ON A WAITLIST?
If you child ends up being put on a waitlist when registering, you will be notified via email a week prior to the first session date.
