WHAT IS THE NASSAU COUNTY EXECUTIVE CUP - COLLEGE SHOWCASE?
  • A college showcase event for both male and female student-athlete where the participants are selected by a tryout format
  • The program consists of 3 tryouts, upon selection 3 training dates, a pre-launch event and the showcase event day.
WHO CAN TRYOUT FOR THE EXECUTIVE CUP?
Any student-athlete, male or female that will be enrolled in a high school for the upcoming school academic year.
IS THERE A DEADLINE TO REGISTER?
No, if possible, we ask participants to register prior to attending tryouts. Registration will also be open on site the day of scheduled tryout.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Registration will be handled online.

WHERE DO I COMPLETE THE LIABILITY WAIVER/RELEASE FORMS AND TRYOUT FEE?
The waiver is part of the registration check out page. If you decide to register on site, we will have hard copies.
DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR EVERY TRYOUT?
No, the fee is a one-time payment for all tryouts.
IF I PREFER A DIFFERENT METHOD OF PAYMENT (Check, Money Order or Cash)?
We accept multiple forms of payment. Those methods of payment can be provided on site. Made payable to: Friends of Nassau County.
DO I HAVE TO ATTEND EVERY TRYOUT?
No, however it is recommend that you do. If you can not a written explanation via email need to be provided. Each email will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO TRYOUTS?
  • Molded cleats or Turf shoes
  • Shin guards
  • Water
  • Weather appropriate athletic attire
HOW MANY PARTICIPANTS WILL BE SELECTED?
There is no set number. The participants will be determined after tryouts depending on the quantity and quality of players in attendance
WHAT IS THE COST OF THE PROGRAM?
A one-time tryout fee for all participants and if a player is selected, they are responsible for finding sponsorship fee to be determined by NCEC. That sponsorship is in the form from a local business/organization.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE EXECUTIVE CUP?
To provide exposure to college coaches as well as educate those student-athletes on the college athletic recruiting process.
WHO ARE THE EVALUATORS AND COACHES?
Independent group of individuals that have the necessary knowledge and background of soccer.
